In such a plateau that could reach thousands of meters high in altitude, it is extremely difficult to obtain the materials to build the Monastery, not to mention the difficulties in transporting these materials to the construction site. In addition to utilizing yaks for transporting the materials, local residents use their manpower to assist the construction work, including log cutting as well as transporting gravels and sands. The whole Monastery is built by hand, so the hardship and difficulties throughout the whole construction process are unimaginable and indescribable.
