All sentient beings’ happiness and peace depend solely on Buddha’s teachings, because the cause of their sufferings is not from outside, but from within – the negative emotions, delusions, the karmas motivated by the negative imprints left on the mental continuum. The only antidote to these sufferings, like the medicine to cure sickness, is Buddha’s teachings.
In order to preserve and propagate the Dharma in general and, in particular, the Dudjom Tersar, the venerable H.E Yeshe Sangpo Rinpoche and H.E. Khandro Pema Chodron Rinpoche accepted the earnest requests from faithful disciples Tan Sri Alex and Datuk Joanne and began the construction of the Samye Drodul-Ling Monastery. After Rinpoche observes the circumstances, the construction work began on an auspicious day in November 17, 2011. The consecration ceremony was held on June 9, 2017.
The Monastery was built exactly following the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, embellished with many exquisite statues, paintings, and sculptures.
The Monastery is also surrounded by one hundred and eight Prayers Wheels, which are filled with almost three hundred million Vajra Guru Mantras. Visitors can circumambulate the Monastery and turn the prayers wheels to accumulate immense merits. The magnificent landscape surrounding the Monastery was created not only as an offering to the Three Jewels, but also as an attempt to inspire and bring peace to both visitors’ and residents’ minds. May all those who build connections with this supreme Monastery of Tibetan Buddhism located in an area populated with ethnic Chinese, attain ultimate peace and happiness.
May the Samye Drodul-Ling Monastery becomes the holy site for Dharma practice, and that all sentient beings eliminate their sufferings and accomplished Buddhahood!
